One thing that had a huge impact on my life was learning from mentors how transformative the act of giving is.  The wealthiest people in the world are givers.  Not just of their money, but of their time, their energy, their love, and their spirit.

If you can’t give your money, give your time and volunteer.  Giving when ‘we don’t have it’ teaches us that there’s always more than enough.

“The gift is to the giver, and comes back most to him – it cannot fail.” – Walt Whitman
