I used to live in reaction to life.  I could be in a down mood for any number of arbitrary reasons.  If it was raining outside, someone said something mean to me, had work to get done, woke up in a bad mood etc.

I was sick and tired of feeling depressed, angry, confused, tired, unmotivated….

That’s when I read an awesome book by Jack Canfield “The Success Principles”

Yeah I know books like this can seem cheesy, but Jack is actually a really smart dude – he graduated from Harvard and worked for W Clement Stone

The two big takeaways for me were that I must take 100% responsibility for what has happened and what will happen in my life and that there are technologies to manage my thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
